About Dr. Hilary Gross

Born and raised in coastal West Marin, Dr. Hilary Gross [Coroianu] developed a passion for health, science, and animals from an early age. This led her to establish Sterling Fox Equine Training and Sales in New York and California and to pursue veterinary school. Ultimately, she realized she wanted to help not only animals but humans as well, and went on to complete her Doctor of Chiropractic education, gaining experience in caring for both people and animals

Dr. G is double board certified in both human and animal chiropractic care, holding double licensure in the US and EU, demonstrating her commitment to providing comprehensive wellness solutions around the world. Dr. G works with patients ranging from Olympic athletes striving for peak performance to fast-growing children, older adults aiming to maintain mobility and independence, and everyone in between. Utilizing a wide variety of techniques and therapeutic tools, she delivers a proven track record of exceptional patient outcomes. She employs modern mixed chiropractic techniques, including mobilization and adjustments of all joints in the body - spine and extremities. Drawing from a comprehensive background of methods such as Palmer Diversified/Manual Technique, Gonstead, Flexion-Distraction/Leander protocol, gentle, precise, and low force upper cervical techniques, Thompson Drop Technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Impulse technology and Activator instrument-assisted chiropractic adjusting techniques, and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). For muscular and fascial (myofascial) disorders, Dr. Gross integrates stretch therapy, Instrument Assisted Therapy, and the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation technique (PNF), along with soft tissue release techniques like Active Relief Techniques. Homecare is also an important part of treatment. Dr. G will teach you how to support your own recovery between visits through proven and targeted stretches, exercises, and neuromuscular re-education techniques.

Outside of her practice, Dr. G maintains an active lifestyle, enjoying high-altitude alpine hiking, black diamond downhill skiing, and competitive horseback riding in jumping and German dressage. Her experience as a serious and competitive athlete over the years has enriched her clinical skills through deep understanding of the demands on the body to perform at peak biomechanical efficiency, benefiting both humans and creatures alike.
